The League is Back...

The league is back...We outsourced all the work and will be utilizing the Fantasy Racing League though the IndyCar website...

I have set up a  league through the IndyCar website...www.indycarnation.indycar.com or you can find a link to IndyCar Nation at the bottom of the indycar website its self ( a little hard to find). you will need to register a free IndyCar Nation account to join.

The league name is Indy Pick-em, it's listed under public.

Please feel free to sign up and join.

Using the IndyCar site will definitely help with managing the league rather then constantly updating it myself, I hope everyone understands.

I hope we are able to be the league back together...IndyCar Nation!

I know this is extremely short notice because the season starts Sunday...and i apologize for that, so if you have any questions shot me an email and i will get back with you today.

The window to pick drivers for the first race (St. Pete) has already closed. Still sign up and make you picks for the next races. I ask (this includes myself) anyone who was able to make picks for the first race not to make any picks for the second race (Barber). This will even everyone up for the rest of the season.

Thanks,
Keith R

Thanks To All Pick'em Members...

Sorry about the late notice, due to ongoing matters and a lack of time to operate the site, the 2012 IndyPick'em season will be canceled. Mostly my work finally blocked my site, this was were I did all my updates and work on the site. It was great while it lasted.

Thanks again for the last few years, its been a lot of fun, I enjoyed my time running the league.

I noted that prior years the IndyCar website ran a fantasy league, I will check into this and see if we could set up a private group. If I am able to do so, I will set up a private group and send all the info to last season members via email and a post on this site.

Thanks,
Keith R

Dan Wheldon 1978-2011

I am at a loss of words about the event that we all witnessed Sunday afternoon. Dan was an ambassador for the sport but more important he was a husband and father. He was a champion, his ability on the track, his amazing personality and his smile will be missed. The Pick'em family extends our condolences, our sympathies and prayers to Dan's surviving wife and children, his parents, family, friends and the entire Indy Car community.

I understand this form of sport is dangerous, these men and woman strap themselves in a machine and race wheel wheel at over 200 miles per hour. These are some of the bravest people in all of sports, how they do this week in and week out knowing the pending risk is truly amazing.
